I have been in Quebec for the past couple of days on a shoot. It has been a great opportunity and a fun experience.
The shoot took a full 10 hours plus some, but I had last night and most of the day today to explore Sherbrooke. It's a pretty nice town. Almost everything is in French and everyone is speaking it so I don't know what is going on most of the time. That's okay with me though.
Last night, I got to check out Siboire, a microbrewery located inside the town's old train station. I had some fish and chips, and tried a few of their beers which were really tasty. The atmosphere was fantastic, and the service was excellent.
Today, I did a lot of driving around the town to see everything. I made a few stops, and walked around to take some photos too. The image below is a photo of the Fabrique Saint-Jean Baptiste. I saw the church from a distance and had to drive to to check it out.
Tomorrow, I plan to head to Montreal to hang out until my flight back to Chicago. It's been fun, but it's always good to get home. I'll be in Chicago for a night and then I drive to Missouri the next morning to visit my family. That's home too. It will be nice to see everyone and relax a little bit.
